Pepper Steak Stir-Fry

Pepper Steak Stir-Fry recipe



  1. Combine picante sauce, water, soy sauce, cornflour and ginger in small bowl; set aside.
  2. In large frying pan or wok over high heat, heat 2 tablespoons of the oil until hot but not smoking.
  3. Add meat and stir-fry 3 to 4 minutes; remove and set aside.
  4. Heat remaining tablespoon oil in frying pan. Add peppers, mushrooms, onions, and garlic to frying pan and stir-fry 5 minutes.
  5. Return meat to frying pan.
  6. Stir picante sauce mixture and pour into frying pan.
  7. Cook and stir about 2-3 minutes or until sauce thickens.
  8. Serve over rice with additional picante sauce.

Makes 4 servings.
