Method

  1. Heat the oil in a deep frying or saute pan and add in the diced sausages, onion and celery and cook, stirring frequently, over a medium heat for 7-8 minutes.
  2. Stir in the tomatoes and cook for a further 8-10 minutes, until the sausages are cooked through.
  3. In the meantime, cook the pasta as per packet instructions (usually around 10-12 minutes).  Then drain, set aside and keep warm.
  4. Add the sour cream, tomato sauce and cornflour into a large bowl and mix together.
  5. Then add the sausage and vegetables into the sour cream mix; adding a little salt and pepper.
  6. Pour into individual oven pie dishes (individual foil dishes are also fine) and sprinkle with cheese
  7. Cook at 180 degrees C (Gas Mark 4) for 10-12 minutes until the cheese melts
  8. Sprinkle with a little basil (optional) and serve.
