Beef Bourguignon recipe



  1. Brown the bacon over medium heat.
  2. When the bacon is cooked, add the beef and onions and brown lightly.
  3. Put browned meat mixture into a oven proof dish.
  4. Add the remaining ingredients.
  5. Cover the dish and cook on 170 degrees C (Gas Mark 4) for about 2.5 hours.
  6. Add extra water if required.

Serve over buttered noodles or rice.
