Simple Salmon Pie recipe
Great use of any leftover mash...!



  1. Spread salmon in a small casserole dish.
  2. Mash potatoes with 1 tablespoon butter and 1/4 pint of milk.
  3. Melt remaining ingredients in saucepan; blend in flour.
  4. Add remaining milk, stirring constantly; cook until thick.
  5. Pour over salmon.
  6. Spread potatoes over sauce.
  7. Bake at 190 degrees C (Gas Mark 5) for about 15 minutes or until sauce begins to bubble through.

Sprinkle with grated cheese just before baking, if desired.  Serve with vegetables (it's delicious with peas).
