Method

  1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees C (Gas Mark 3).
  2. Trim beef; cut into serving-size pieces.
  3. Place in a greased 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle with pepper.
  5. Top with onion, mushrooms and tomato sauce.
  6. Cover and bake for 1 3/4 to 2 hours or until meat is tender.

Serve over cooked noodles.
