Curried Lamb recipe



  1. Soak onion in water until soft about 5 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in large frying pan over medium high heat.
  3. Add onion and saute until golden about 4 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to low add spices and stir 1 minute.
  5. Add lamb to frying pan.
  6. Increase heat to medium high and cook stirring frequently until meat is evenly browned 10 to 15 minutes.
  7. Add stock and salt.
  8. Reduce heat to medium cover and cook until meat is tender about 20 minutes.
  9. Simmer uncovered until sauce thickens about 20 minutes.
  10. Cook rice as per packet instructions, set aside.
  11. Stir in yogurt and lemon juice.

Serve immediately over cooked rice.
