Lamb Shepherd's Pie

Lamb Shepherd's Pie recipe



  1. Brown off the lamb in a little oil in a frying pan for 5-6 minutes
  2. in the meantime, cook celery and onion in the water for 5 minutes; do not drain.
  3. Mix with lamb, half of the gravy, parsley, and peas.
  4. Put in shallow casserole dish.
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Spread with potato and dot with butter.
  7. Sprinkle with paprika.
  8. Bake in preheated hot oven - 200 degrees C (Gas Mark 6) - for about 35-40 minutes.

Serve with remaining gravy, heated through.
