- Brown off the lamb in a little oil in a frying pan for 5-6 minutes
- in the meantime, cook celery and onion in the water for 5 minutes; do not drain.
- Mix with lamb, half of the gravy, parsley, and peas.
- Put in shallow casserole dish.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread with potato and dot with butter.
- Sprinkle with paprika.
- Bake in preheated hot oven - 200 degrees C (Gas Mark 6) - for about 35-40 minutes.
Serve with remaining gravy, heated through.
